Mirrors & the Blues...

The new year is in full swing...shopping the last few weeks for several projects..sourcing antique & vintage mirrors...French mirrors are always in demand...I love old mirrors especially ones with ghosting..aging of the mercury glass...water gilt and old gilt..both have a patina that appeals to many...Also shopping for blue & white european textiles...Dark blue is one of the Pinterest 100 hottest trends for home decor...I love blue...it goes with many colors & styles and its so very French...Sharing a glimpse into my last few weeks and my love for old mirrors & the blues!

It was class and craftsmanship at its all time best when I viewed those french mirrors on display on the website of the top furniture company UK as the wooden outer frame of these French style mirrors were intricately hand carved on solid wood and ornately designed, making them look exquisitely beautiful and sublime without any design or production flaws.
