Collected....Antique & Vintage Trophy Cups

Fall arrived this past week...the long awaited gorgeous season that seems to be a fave for many of us. Our days are still warm in the afternoons, the nights are cool & crisp, the kind of clear nights when you run back inside for your sweater or hoodie. I usually shop each week for Rue 27 Maison & this week was no exception...I am moving into a wonderful gallery, Vignettes in San Diego. Vignettes is a beautiful & fanciful collective, I am very excited to be showing there. I will post pics when I move in the middle of October. Now, back to the shopping, I found many treasures this week, one of my faves was a Silverplate large trophy cup from the 1920's, it is in wonderful condition & has the older hand engraving. This week when I decorated the sideboard I had to include it, it really makes a statement with the bright orange ornamental pumpkins on stems. The older trophy cups have become much harder to find, they are wonderful mementos of the past. I love that most of them come engraved with their own history.  Sharing with you my fave ideas for using these gorgeous trophy cups...
