Happy 4th....an American Summer Celebration

Sometimes in the summer's hot, Fourth of July celebrations, we tend to forget the reason for Americans honoring this special day...we are all blessed to live here, all blessed for our liberty, freedoms and our right to be an American...we are not a perfect country...we will always disagree and the fact we can makes us as Americans...perfectly free.

Growing up in the South, I have always been a big fan of William Faulkner...I love this quote by him..."We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it..."

Happy 4th of July to all....Cheers!
Charming American pride in our flag...
July 4th table..
The perfect July picnic...
Always a treat...fresh watermelon
Land of the free...
